SYMPTOM(s):
Getting oracle error -3114, -3113 and -00028 intermittently when connecting from WebSpeed using Oracle broker
ORACLE error see -3114 "ORACLE Error Messages and Codes Manual". (1252)
ORA-03114 not connected to ORACLE
Mostly get the above error
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
ORA-00028: your session has been killed
Oracle Database is on a separate machines on the WAN vs. the WebSpeed and the DataServer machine.
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.x
Oracle DataServer
CAUSE:
The network on the WAN configuration intermittently losing the packet which caused the error
FIX:
Fix the network so it it stable and not losing the TCP packet.
