SYMPTOM(s):
WebSpeed application does not run correctly when run from OE Architect
The Architect default web server shows the text of the WebSpeed program when the program is run from Architect
This same configuration has been working for a long time until Database on the UNIX server is upgraded from 9.1E to OE10.1C
No changes on the port number and hostname for the Database and the database server
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
OpenEdge 10.1x
OpenEdge 10.2x
CAUSE:
The "Broker URL" is missing from the OE project's > properties > OpenEdge > WebSpeed page. The cause for broker URL disappearing is unknown at the time of this writing.
FIX:
Add the "Broker URL" on the OE project's > properties > OpenEdge > webSpeed page as following:
For instance, if you use cgiip.exe messenger using wsbroker1:
/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=wsbroker1">http://web_server_host_name>/scripts/cgiip.exe/WService=wsbroker1
If you use cgiip.wsc use the following format:
http://web_server_host_name/scripts/cgiip.wsc
If you use different name from the cgiip.wsc script, use that script name instead of cgiip.wsc on the above broker URL.
