SUMMARY:
If you use the Application Compiler to generate the .xrf
files and you try to load this in TranMan you may get this
result.
"<n> phrases extracted 0 phrases loaded"
EXPLANATION:
In order to translate character mode applications using
TranMan 2 you need to generate the .xrf file. (See Progress Knowledge Base Solution 15944).
Customers may want to use the Application Compiler to compile their source code, however this will not work. The reason why this fails is that application compiler uses XREF option of the COMPILE statement. Translation Manager uses STRING-XREF option for extract. Generated files are different and not compatible.
