GOAL:
Is there any way to force WRITE-XML to implicitly split apart arrays into individual, uniquely named fields?

FIX:
The WRITE-XML method has no explicit, nor implicit, functionality which allows for splitting apart array fields. To do this one would have to manually split these into individual fields in a temp-table and handle the mapping from the database table to the individual fields manually.
