OpenEdge Explorer will not start:waiting for localhost:9090
Several java process were started by other services
netstat -an shows a few listings for port 9090
FACT(s) (Environment):
NMS's VoIP is being used on this system
OpenEdge 10.2B
OpenEdge Explorer
Windows Server 2008
CAUSE:
Two services are having a conflict with OpenEdge Explorer:NMS CT daemon and NMS SIP (Session Initiation Protocol).
CAUSE:
Multiple java process running as part of NMS services.
FIX:
Stop Progress, all NMS services and any remaining java processes. Set the NMS services for a delayed start and restarted the OS. The OpenEdge Explorer starts without issue.
