CAUSE:
Bug#: OE00203956
Flexera (InstallShield) Bug#: SIOC-000105647
CAUSE:
NOTE: This problem has been identified as an InstallShield bug in the version of InstallShield that ships with OpenEdge 10.
Flexera, the maker of InstallShield, indicates there is no workaround or fix with that version of InstallShield.
Progress is investigating new versions of InstallShield to be shipped with future versions of OpenEdge.
FIX:
Workaround:
1. Open up the IIS Management Console, right-click the master node, and
then click Properties.
(this can also be configured for an individual virtual directory of
IIS -- commonly a virtual directory named web_image)
2. Click MIME Types.
3. Click New.
4. In the Extension box, type one asterisk (*).
5. In the MIME Type box, type application/octet-stream.
6. Apply the new settings. IIS (or an indivual virtual directory if
configured for one virtual directory) now serves all files regardless
of the extension.
NOTE: You must restart World Wide Web Publishing Service or wait for
the worker process to recycle for the changes to take effect.
