SYMPTOM(s):
READ-XML does not read all XML file elements
READ-XML can ignore some elements when processing an XML file.
FACT(s) (Environment):
The Elements do not have carriage return values between elements.
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.1C
CAUSE:
READ-XML cannot process the lines correctly if the XML line terminators do not include a carriage return character.
FIX:
Upgrade to OpenEdge 10.2A02 or later.
Or alternatively insert the carriage returns, for example with XSLT or by opening the file in Stylus Studio, formatting it with the Indent XML tags option and saving it.
