Service Pack installation hangs with no error messages
The OpenEdge base installation installed with no errors.
FACT(s) (Environment):
OpenEdge 10.x
Windows
CAUSE:
Installing Service Pack as Domain Administrator
FIX:
1. Uninstall OpenEdge (the 10.x product).
2. Reinstall OpenEdge and the Service Pack as Local Administrator
or
1. Uninstall OpenEdge (the 10.x product).
2. Add the Domain Administrator to the local Administrator group
3. Reinstall OpenEdge and the Service Pack as Domain Administrator
