FIX:
pdb files are much better for reviewing memory dumps than map files. The pdb files allow the debugger to do the work of resolving the symbols and in many cases also unwinding the stack automatically.
pdb files were added to OpenEdge in 10.1C02 and 10.2B. They were also added to 10.1B03 around hotfix 35. For FCS and SP versions, the pdb files are shipped on the media in a pdbfiles subdirectory, but are not installed. The user must copy them from the media if needed. For hotfixes, the pdbfiles are in a pdbfiles subdirectory within the archive. When customers extract the archive into DLC, it creates the pdbfiles subdir under DLC.
