SYMPTOM(s):
OEA: OpenEdge Architect Editor should provide a quick way to add the USING statement
In OpenEdge Architect Editor, it would be nice to have a quick way to add a USING statement without having to scroll to the top of the code to add it and scroll down to continue coding.
Say a developer, while editing a large procedure or class, types: Base.Common.MyClass and Base.Common is not in the USING statement section.
Today, the developer have to scroll up to the USING section and type in the USING statement for Base.Common.
Then the developer have to scroll down to where he was in the source code and continue coding.
OpenEdge Architect Editor should provide a way to avoid having to scroll up to add the USING statement, the developer can keep focus on the code instead of the using statement.
