SonicMQ Adapter fails to connect to Sonic Broker after OpenEdge migration with Version Mismatch error in the SonicMQ Adapter log
javax.jms.JMSException: Version mismatch: Broker is V27, Client is V29
FACT(s) (Environment):
SonicMQ Broker is version 6.1
All Supported Operating Systems
SonicMQ 6.1
CHANGE:
Migrated from OpenEdge 10.1B03 to 10.2B
CAUSE:
OpenEdge 10.1B03 uses SonicMQ Client 6 and OpenEdge 10.2B uses SonicMQ Client 7.5.
SonicMQ Client 7.5 is not compatible with Sonic MQ broker 6.1
FIX:
Use SonicMQ Client 6 by copying the jar %DLC%/sonic/mqXX/lib from OpenEdge 10.1B03 to OpenEdge 10.2B intallation.
