FIX:
There are no known issues when installing an OpenEdge Service Pack on a machine where Sonic is also installed. They are two separate products with two separate installation directories, so they have no direct link to each other.
One exception is an environment where the OpenEdge "Sonic ESB Adapter" has been installed. In such cases, the new ESB Adapter libraries files will be added to the Sonic Domain if the proper Sonic settings have been configured during the initial OpenEdge installation.
