SYMPTOM(s):
Getting 1432 error when trying to connect to a database in client server mode
** Could not connect to server for database <DATABASE>, errno <ERRNO>. (1432)
When client pings IP address for the server machine it returns with an IPV4 address
Client is making use of DNS (Domain Name System).
DNS server giving errors when trying to resolve IPV4 address that it believes is associated with the hostname for the server machine.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Server machine has ipv6 address
Client machine has ipv4 address
Server can connect to database in a client server mode.
Server can ping itself via hostname and IP address.
\etc\hosts does not show any addresses for the server machine

CAUSE:
DNS (Domain Name System ) issue. DNS server is not resolving with the correct hostname / IP address combination.
FIX:
Fix DNS issue.
