SYMPTOM(s):
AdminServer will not start under Virtuozzo virtual machine software.
No entries listed in admserv.log
Admsrvc.exe launches and is visible in the task list but the Java process which is the AdminServer does not.
Attempted to perform java -version and getting this error:
Error starting JVM, error -1073741819
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows

CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing.
FIX:
The makers of Virtuozzo software were able to replace one of the .dll's used by the AdminServer under the Virtuozzo VM and were able to get the AdminServer running.
The .dll identified and replaced was the jvm.dll.
No information was provided by Virtuozzo of what Java version they used to acquire the newer .dll file.
Contact Virtuozzo VM software manufacturers if this problem is encountered.
