SUMMARY:
If you are using DDE with 32-bit Progress and find that your DDE
ADVISE commands appear to work but no DDE-NOTIFY events ever get
generated within Progress, the problem is that the DDE Server you
are communicating with does not support "hot" links.
SOLUTION:
The resolution to this problem is to contact the vendor who created
the DDE Server and have them modify their code so that clients can
communicate with it via hot links.
