Problem doesn't occur when Microsoft ODBC driver for SQL Server is used (specifically, file: SQLSRV32.DLL, version: 2000.85.1132.00, date: 14/04/2008)

The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
Use OE10.2B01 or later and a specific Microsoft ODBC driver for SQL Server (see above)
