SYMPTOM(s):
INDEXED-REPOSITION does not return the correct records with BEGINS
INDEXED-REPOSITION on a QUERY statement prevents BEGINS from using an index and subsequently the returned records are incorrect
Accented characters are not returned when using INDEXED-REPOSITION with a BEGINS operator
Accented characters are returned when the INDEXED-REPOSITION option is removed from the query using BEGINS
Accented characters are returned by the BEGINS query are not returned when using INDEXED-REPOSITION
smartFilter returns different results when using accented characters compared to FOR EACH and QUERY results.
smartFilter does not work with extended accented characters

FIX:
Add/include field containing accented characters in an index.
Remove INDEXED-REPOSITION option.
