10.2B installation exits with no error while configuring files
FACT(s) (Environment):
Windows
OpenEdge 10.2B
CAUSE:
DLC is set for previous version of Progress prior to the installation of 10.2B.
FIX:
Re-install OpenEdge following the steps below.
1. Record the DLC, IDLC, PROMSGS, IPROMSGS and any other Progress environmental parameters that may be set.
2. Uninstall OpenEdge 10.2B.
3. Remove the Progress environmental settings from the system Environment settings.
4. Install OpenEdge 10.2B.
5. Recreate the Progress environment settings recorded in step one above if still needed for future use with the older version of Progress.
