SYMPTOM(s):
Open Query slow after migrating to 10.2B and upgrading Operating System.
Code has not changed and had quick response time prior to upgrades.
Problem does not occur on a different machine that was upgraded to 10.2B but the operating system was not changed.
CHANGE:
Upgraded from 10.0B to 10.2B
CHANGE:
Upgraded from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 R2
CAUSE:
Propath contained invalid references to network resouces which no longer exist.
FIX:
Review the PROPATH to look for non-existent paths which the system will attempt to scan but will take time to return a time-out response from the Operating System.
Remove any invalid directory paths from the PROPATH.
