SYMPTOM(s):
SessionPool : NoAvailableSessions[CONNECT FAILURE: Unable to resolve hostname (8821)
IOException reading message from server : java.io.EOFException: pipe to server broken (8117)
Fatal transport failure -14. (5487)
FACT(s) (Environment):
AppServer starts without error most of the time.
Database started via scripts using proserve command.

CAUSE:
The database had not started and the commands being issued resulted in these errors.
FIX:
Start the databases as usual, however, add a pause of a few seconds, prior to starting the AppServer to insure databases had started prior to starting the AppServer.
