Clicking a ABL inherited control crashes the AVM in OpenEdge Architect (OEA)

Getting system error (ACCESS VIOLATION) when selecting an ABL class/control from the toolbox that inherits System.Windows.Forms.TextBox

System error when NEWing a ABL/.NET hybrid class C0000005 ACCESS VIOLATION

Dragging the control from the toolbox in Visual Designer resolves the problem for the remainder of the Architect session

CAUSE:

The cause is unknown but is suspected to be caused by some r-code conflict. Recompiling the class seemed to make the problem go away.

Recompile the offending class
