Creating records in a WebSpeed application intermittently fails with error 6527
Table <table name> is locked. Record create failed. (328) (6527)
FACT(s) (Environment):

CAUSE:
An ODBC connection has its locking set to SERIALIZABLE. Subsequently any time a user runs a report other users experienced locking problems, depending on which tables the report queries and for how long.
FIX:
Change the ODBC connection locking to READ_UNCOMMITED.
