SYMPTOM(s):
Database machine had a system failure
Need to copy database to new machine but cannot access probkup
Cannot copy database files with OS copy with database running
FACT(s) (Environment):
Database was started with Progress Explorer Tool.
Windows

CAUSE:
The database needs to be shut down to do the OS copy.
FIX:
1. Install the same version of Progress on a new system
2. Start the Adminserver in Services
3. Open Progress Explorer Tool from the Progress menu.
4. Right click on "Progress Explorer"
5. Choose "Add Progress Server"
6. Enter the password for the user.
7. Select the database on the old system and stop it.
8. Now the database can be copied over using OS copy.
If the extent locations have changed, the db-name.st file has
to be modified and prostrct repair run.
