SUMMARY:
If you make a schema change in the Data Dictionary from a Roundtable
session (such as loading a .df file or using the Dictionary to make
changes), the Dictionary resets the Progress session when you commit
your changes.
Since Roundtable is left running when the session resets, it loses
all of its shared variable information (such as the path to where
RTB is installed). You will then get error messages about files not
being found. You must restart Roundtable.
SOLUTION:
The best policy would be to use a non-Roundtable session when making
changes in the Data Dictionary.
