SYMPTOM(s):
Connecting to an AppServer through a NameServer results in error 9407
Connection failure fot host 127.0.0.1 port <port> transport TCP. (9407)
NameServer log reads:
Registering Broker <UUID> <AppServer broker name>/127.0.0.1 <Port>. (8205)
Error does not occur when the client is located on the same machine as the NameServer
Error does not occur with a direct connection to the AppServer
Error does not occur with indirect connect using -AppService from where the NameServer
FACT(s) (Environment):
Connecting using a remote client
Connecting to an AppServier through a NameServer
NameServer is up and running
AppServer is registered with the NameServer

CAUSE:
The hostname configuration on the server in incorrect: The NameServer returns the AppServer loopback address to the remote client.
FIX:
Verify the operating system's HOSTS file.
