SYMPTOM(s):
Adminserver will not start in Services
Proadsv -start gives error java.lang.noclassdeffounderror
No logging in the adminserver log file
No java process in task manager
FACT(s) (Environment):
admsrvc.exe is running in task manager
DEP setting is correct
Windows
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
Incorrect paths in the Adminserverplugins.properties file.
FIX:
Correct the classpaths and any other paths in the [OpenEdge installation directory]\properties\Adminserverplugins.properties file.
The paths should be to where OpenEdge was installed.
