GOAL:
Progress Error 40 has an incorrect description in Progress help
FIX:
The System Admin Reference Manual states that the maximum number of indexes depends on block size:
512 bytes = 2048 indexes, 1k block = 4096 indexes
However error 40 description, in the Progress Help, incorrectly states different figures.
SYSTEM ERROR: Attempt to define too many indexes (40)
On systems with a 512 byte blocksize, the maximum number of indexes in a database is 1024. On systems with a 1024 byte blocksize, the maximum number of indexes in a database is 2048.
The correct information should be
On systems with a 512 byte blocksize, the maximum number of indexes in a database is 2048. On systems with a 1024 byte blocksize, the maximum number of indexes in a database is 4096.
