Status: Verified
SYMPTOM(s):
Toolbox.xml file is not located in the project root directory after upgrade
Toolbox.xml file is now placed under .\sharedavm\ in the workspace
Shared AVM is not being used
Location of toolbox.xml has changed after upgrade
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.2B1B
FIX:
The global Toolbox multiple projects in the same workspace can use same toolbox.xml file.
The "Use global Toolbox for Visual Designer" setting for a project is now unchecked by default. (Previously, it was checked for new projects and unchecked for existing projects.)
Note that this setting is still checked by default for the shared AVM.
Each project (and the shared AVM) should be configured appropriately to use the global Toolbox, i.e., the PROPATH and assemblies.xml should contain the controls used by the toolbox. (Also, the project would need the corresponding database connections if the controls use a database.)
By default, the location of the global Toolbox is .sharedavm\toolbox.xml. This location can be changed in the Visual Designer page in the Preferences.
