FIX:
Sequences can be created for a field within the Progress Database by making use of the Sequence Editor that is located within the Data Dictionary.
1. Choose the Schema Sequence Editor from the Data Dictionary. Progress displays a list of the sequences defined for the working database and the attributes for the sequence that is selected.
2. Choose the Add option from the menu at the bottom of the window.
3. Define the sequence attributes, then press GO. Progress then returns you to the Sequence Editor.
4. Choose Exit to apply the change. Progress displays an alert box asking if you want to apply or undo the changes to the database, or if you want to make other changes.
5. Choose Apply Changes. Progress returns you to the Data Dictionary main window.
