Cannot perform an idxbuild because it keeps going back to the windows prompt.
Cannot perform an idxfix because the cursor keeps going back to the windows prompt.
Command being run: proutil dbname -C idxbuild
Command being executed in a PROENV window.

CHANGE:
Added an index to a field.
CAUSE:
The problem was that the command was being entered as:
proutil <pathnametodb> -C idxbuild. The "<" and ">" symbols are not suppose to be entered as a part of the command.
FIX:
Enter the command without the "<" and ">" symbols. These symbols appear within solutions and documentation to indicate where a DBA should add their specific information to the command.
