Status: Unverified
SYMPTOM(s):
When using aiarchiver the date stamp on the ai file name never changes.
All the date time stamps of the ai archived files are the same.
FACT(s) (Environment):
All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge 10.1x
CAUSE:
This is working as expected. It does not indicate a problem.
FIX:
The date stamp on the ai file name when saved by the aiarchiver utility is the date that after imaging was enabled and will not change unless after imaging is ended and begun again. For example:
Typical name for an aiarchiver saved file on Windows which was started September 29, 2008:
c:!~Progress101c~Wrk~Ai-testing~sp.20080929.164653.00001008.sp.a9
c:!~Progress101c~Wrk~Ai-testing~sp.20080929.164653.00001009.sp.a10
After issuing an rfutil aimage end and then an aimage begin on March 24, 2010 the archived file name looks like:
c:!~Progress101c~Wrk~Ai-testing~sp.20100324.163748.00000001.sp.a1
c:!~Progress101c~Wrk~Ai-testing~sp.20100324.163748.00000002.sp.a2
