Can I use .NET classes from the AppServer?

Why doesn't the AppServer executable recognize the -assemblies startup parameter?
GOAL:
I have code using .NET classes that works with prowin32.exe but not with _proapsv.exe, why is that?

FIX:
Only the prowin32.exe executable supports the use of .NET classes.
