UUCP for client - server networking? No, only self serve
PROGRESS does not run in a client-server mode on UNIX with
UNIX-to-UNIX Copy (UUCP).
UUCP is a store-and-forward information communications system.
It does not maintain a steady link with another system, so it
can't perform traditional client-server communications.
UUCP can communicate requests, such as queries, to another system,
which could then interpret them, and use UUCP to communicate the
information retrieved back to the requestor.
