SYMPTOM(s):

Connecting multiple databases using the Auxiliary databases feature of SQL fails on 32-bit OpenEdge database when memory exceeds the memory limit

SQLSRV2 <servernum>: (-----) User <usernum> Connection warning: Auxiliary databases not connected

The -mqdb parameter is utilized in order to connect to multiple DBs

There are no errors in the *.oesql.properties file

Amount of shared memory combined from all the connected databases is greater than 4 GB

FACT(s) (Environment):

x86 (Intel 32-bit)
OpenEdge 10.1x
Linux

CAUSE:

Amount of shared memory of all the databases combined is larger then the amount that any one 32-bit process can connect to

FIX:

If 64-bit hardware is available, use a 64-bit version of OpenEdge
