S/E 915 lock overflow w/ QAD Delete & Archive or GL Consol
According to QAD Tech Support . . .
Users will sometimes experience a s/e 915 when performing the
QAD Delete and Archive of their application. This error has also been
encountered in QAD's General Ledger Consolidation program.
These programs are designed to be ALL or Nothing programs. Therefore
they must run to completion, and must lock and keep locks on all
records in the application. This may cause a lock on ALOT of records.
These programs should be run in single user mode to avoid lock table
overflow. Running in multiuser mode will more than likely overflow
even a very large lock table setting, and cause a long backout.
