SYMPTOM(s):
"glibc detected sqlsrv2 double free or corruption" message when connecting to database from host using sqlexp.
Getting "Could not connect to server for database , errno 10038. (1432)"
Unable to make sql connections on VMware SUSE 10 environment
Java version being used is 6.1.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Supported version of java for 10.1C is 1.5.
SuSe Enterprise Server 10
OpenEdge 10.1C04 Service Pack
OpenEdge Category: SQL
CHANGE:
This worked in 9.1E in a non-VMware environment.
CAUSE:
6.1 is the wrong java version for 10.1C
FIX:
Install Java 1.5 and then reinstall Progress OpenEdge.
