Kbase 18644: Error 503 Running Apptivity HTML Proj W/SmartBean from IDE

This document applies to: Apptivity Developer 3.0 and above

SUMMARY:

When an HTML project which uses SmartBeans is run from the IDE, it
must be run using a New Server or Existing Server, rather than in the
Client VM.

If such a project is run from Developer in the Client VM, your browser
may report the following error:

503 Service Unavailable
No agents are AVAILABLE


SOLUTION:

Before an HTML project using SmartBeans is run from Developer,

1) Select Project->Properties

2) In the General tab, under Server Configuration, select New Server
(or Existing Server if you will start the Component Manager and
Distribution Manager before running the project)

3) Dismiss the Project Properties Dialog by selecting the OK button
