Selecting edit or save environment variable settings in OpenEdge Explorer to will allow you to edit and/or save the changes, but an error message appears.

FIX:

Workaround: Change the Display Notification value defined in Internet Explorer to not display script errors:

In Internet Explorer, select Tools -> Internet Options. Select the Advanced tab. Under the section labeled "Browsing", uncheck the box for "Display a notification about every script error".
