Status: Unverified
SYMPTOM(s):
Script starting database not processing .pf file.
Database using default values
Can't increase -L parameter.
Changed the value of -L in the parameter (.pf) file.
FACT(s) (Environment):
UNIX
Progress 9.0x
OpenEdge 10.x
CAUSE:
The script file is specifying the database name a second time in the .pf file called by the script. For example:
$DLC/bin/proserve dbname -pf dbname.pf
The .pf file has the dbname as a parameter.
-db dbname
FIX:
Remove the redundant database name parameter from the .pf file.
