When running rfutil amiage extent list, get error Unable to open cms.lk , error code 13. (316)
error Unable to open cms.lk , error code 13. (316)
error code 13 means you do not have permission to open the file or search the parent directories.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Other commands such as proserve, proshut, proutil run without error.
Application is running without error.
This same setup and application is working on earlier versions of Windows.
Database is running on Windows 2008 with Progress Explorer Tool running on Windows 2003 R2

CHANGE:
Ownership of the database directory and files in the directory were assigned to a different Windows Administrator on the Windows 2008 server.
CAUSE:
Permissions for files were not set automatically the same way as they were in Windows 2003 R2, when the ownership of the directory and files were assigned to a different Windows Administrator under 2008.
FIX:
Manually set the file permissions to proper settings.
