Getting 2329 and 612 error when applying an ai file to a hot backup database.

(2329) SYSTEM ERROR: Invalid block 3466238 for file /dbname_30.d16, max is 125439

SYSTEM ERROR: Invalid block <block> for file <file-name>, max is <max-block> (2329)

(612) SYSTEM ERROR: Possible file truncation, 3466238 too big for database.

SYSTEM ERROR: Possible file truncation, <block-offset> too big for database. (612)

Extent that the 2329 error occurred on is a variable length data extent.

FACT(s) (Environment):

This site has multiple hot backups of the production database.
rfutil dbname -C aimage scan for the ai file that errors was successful.
proutil dbname -C dbanalys on the production database completed successfully without errors
Data extents were added to the production database for this area sometime prior to now.
File system that the variable length extent is on is large file enabled.
The database is large file enabled.
Permissions and ownership for OpenEdge executables are correct.
No Operating System limits associated with file size are being imposed.
User rolling forward the AI files is root.
Data extents were added to another copy of the hot backup and the ai file was able to be applied without error.

CAUSE:

Bug# OE00193653

CAUSE:

The data extent in question was not able to be extended for some reason.

FIX:

1. Check the dbname.st for the production database to see if extents were added for the area in question.
2. If extents have been added to the production database and not to the hot standby, then add the missing extents to the hot standby database.
3. Then reapply the After Image file using rfutil dbname -C roll forward -retry -a aifilename.
