FIX:
No. Once OpenEdge Replication has been established you don't need to re-enable replication after each backup.
OpenEdge Replication will only be disabled if you:
a. Disable site replication using proutil or dsrutil commands with the disablesitereplication parameter.
b. Transition the database to become a normal (non-replicated) database.
c. Re-create the database from scratch.
