Does OpenEdge Replication need to be re-enabled after a Progress backup?

GOAL:

Does replication need to be re-enabled using proutil enablesitereplication after a probkup?

FACT(s) (Environment):

All Supported Operating Systems
OpenEdge Replication
OpenEdge 10.x

FIX:

No. Once OpenEdge Replication has been established you don't need to re-enable replication after each backup.

OpenEdge Replication will only be disabled if you:

a. Disable site replication using proutil or dsrutil commands with the disablesitereplication parameter.

b. Transition the database to become a normal (non-replicated) database.

c. Re-create the database from scratch.
