SYMPTOM(s):
Cache file is created against the character client
If a cache file is created and database triggers are changed, when character client users the -cache option, no warning message is displayed informing the user that the database schema has been changed and changes to the triggers are ignored.

CAUSE:
Bug# 19990209-002
CAUSE:
This is a bug against the character client, as the same situation does not happen when using the procedure editor/data dictionary in the GUI.
FIX:
Avoid using the -cache parameter with the character client. Bug fixed in Progress 8.3C and 9.1A
