FIX:
Follow the steps below to ensure that the service pack installation tailoring program executes properly and avoid the reported error. Following these steps also corrects an OpenEdge 10.2A02 installation that encountered the reported error.
1. Before (re)installation of the OpenEdge 10.2A02 Service Pack, ensure that your system variable PATH has ?<OpenEdge-install-dir>/jre/bin? appended to it. Replace < OpenEdge-install-dir > with the absolute path where OpenEdge 10.2A is installed. Edit the system variable PATH by navigating to My Computer ->Properties, selecting the Advanced tab, and then Environment Variables. Select PATH in the System variables list, click Edit and enter the proper path.
2. Install or reinstall the OpenEdge 10.2A02 Service Pack, following the usual prompts. Reinstalling the service pack asks you to confirm that you want to do this, answer Yes.
