SYMPTOM(s):
CPD0006: Permission denied from the user-defined-validity-checker program VCSTRNET.
Using STRPRONET.
STRPRONET is assigned to a port higher than 55535.
CAUSE:
OS limit. IBM helpdesk was contacted and the reply was that OS/400 release V4R3 has the last 10000 port numbers reserved for internal use.
FIX:
Use a port lower than 55535.
