When the Java application tries to do some work - it no longer has a JDBC connection.
Server not reachable or possible RPC error
Problem happens after a long period of time of no activity - possibly 12 hours

CAUSE:
On AIX errno 78 means /* Connection timed out */IBM recognized the issue as: IY89429: AIX STOPS RESPONDING TO KEEPALIVES APPLIES TO AIX 5300-07
FIX:
IBM has a AIX OS fix available for this issue.
