Can't CREATE,UPDATE,DELETE from non-browsable tables (2084)
To modify data in the Sybase database, the table that
contains the data must be browsable. A table is browsable if it
contains a unique index and a Sybase time stamp. If it is not
browsable, PROGRESS generates the following error message.
Cannot CREATE, UPDATE, or DELETE from nonbrowsable tables. (2084)
The "Sybase Reference Guide" describes browse mode as follows:
"Browse Mode
- the browse operation used in front end applications using
DB-Library and a host programming language. Browse mode
supports the ability to perform updates while viewing data."
