The OpenEdge Sample CD is downloadable from the Progress ESD download site at the Product Download center:
http://www.progress.com/esd/index.ssp
After logging in choose Download software -> SOFTWARE Product List (where you will choose the product you want to download ) -> SOFTWARE Product Information -> OpenEdge Product Downloads (where you choose for which Operating System you want to download the product under SOFTWARE Product Download) -> Documentation and Samples CD image -> FTP Download
