SYMPTOM(s):
Application displays browse in frame along with buttons
Application runs in character mode on UNIX
Initial focus is one on of the buttons
First row in browse also appears to have focus (foreground & background colors match those of focused button) which confuses users
Tabbing into and out of the browse removes the visual focus effect

CAUSE:
The exact cause is unknown at the time of this writing
FIX:
When the frame is displayed, apply "entry" to the browse then immediately apply "entry" back to the button (or other widget) that you want to have the initial focus
