SYMPTOM(s):
ODBC Test Connect hangs using SQL 89.
No errors generated on client system.
Microsoft tool Process Monitor running on client machine shows client in TCP Send operation and nothing beyond that action.
Microsoft tool Process Monitor running on server machine shows nothing received by server machine when expecting communication from client.
FACT(s) (Environment):
Connections from other machines to OIBroker on server machine are successful.
Connections from 4GL client to database using normal database remote server port are successful.

CAUSE:
Port specified in services file on client machine does not match port specified for OIBroker on server machine.
FIX:
Ports specified in services file on client and server machines must match.
